Claire Shiell is a New York based actor with ties to the San Francisco bay area, where she was born and raised. After working the San Francisco small regional theatre circuit in her early college years, she made the bold move to move out to New York City where she furthered her studies in the greatest American artform that is musical theatre. She trained intensely for a grueling two years and graduated from the prestigious CAP21 professional training program, where she helped write and perform an original musical (with the help of Broadway’s Travis Greisler and Dan Green) and also starred as Belle in the smash hit musical comedy Babes in Arms. She currently resides in New York City where she runs around like a madwoman, only slowing down to pet a bodega cat
